Never wash a Kuksa with detergent or do it in the dishwasher!
Also, never leave with filled liquid for a longer time.
Then there is danger of cracking after drying out!
Original Kuksas made of birch tuber need never be re-oiled. Birch tuber wood splits and never tears when handled properly. Of course, all hot and cold drinks can be drunk from it.
